Trust partnerships & Lottery

The generous support we receive from partnerships with trusts, foundations, and the National Lottery is vital to our work to end homelessness. We deliver impactful projects and services and would love you to get involved.

We use our experience of working with homeless people across the UK to campaign and influence policy to end homelessness. Our 12 Skylight centres work with thousands of homeless people each year.

There are many ways that you could get involved to have an impact locally or nationally. For example you could support our technical skills training or help us to pilot innovations in shared housing.

The project you choose to support will make a real difference in the lives of homeless people.

About Crisis

We are the national charity for homeless people. We help people directly out of homelessness, and campaign for the social changes needed to solve it altogether. We know that together we can end homelessness.

Contact us

We are keen to develop relationships with charitable and corporate trusts and foundations that are committed to fighting homelessness and social exclusion.

If you are interested in partnering with us, have any questions about anything on this page, or want to visit one of our Skylight Centres, please contact us via trusts@crisis.org.uk or 020 7036 2841.

Trust partnerships

We are lucky enough to receive support from a number of charitable trusts and foundations. Without this funding some of the projects like the two below would not be possible.

Cafe from Crisis London and Worshipful Company of Cooks

Café from Crisis is our social enterprise in East London. It provides routes into employment for homeless people and ex-offenders. Since 1989 The Worshipful Company of Cooks have supported projects involving education, training and community welfare.

Partnership required: Mental health and wellbeing services

We currently need funding for our mental health and wellbeing services. Could you help us to help people overcome the mental and physical health problems caused by homelessness? Find out how you can get involved.

Big Lottery Fund

Every year, the Big Lottery Fund distributes millions of pounds from the National Lottery to good causes. Most funding is awarded to voluntary and community sector organisations, like Crisis, that aim to make a difference in people’s lives and in their communities. We are very grateful for the generous support of the Big Lottery Fund. Here are some of the inspiring projects we have been able to deliver with their help.

Positive Progression

Between 2012 and 2015, 1,715 Crisis members took part in informal and accredited learning activities at our Skylight centre in Newcastle. This project was generously supported by the Big Lottery Fund with a grant of £284,392.

Statutory funding

We deliver a range of services that improve people’s lives and help them leave homelessness behind for good through partnerships with the statutory sector in England and Scotland, at national and local level.

For example we work with the Scottish Government on a project around shared tenancy services. And through Croydon Council's Community Fund we received funding towards our personalised coaching service at our Skylight Centre in Croydon
