The training programme is definitely an eye-opener. I didn’t have much knowledge about what retail entailed. So watching the staff and how they interacted with customers taught me how to do it, how to read and communicate with different people. It increased my confidence. I learnt a lot from them.

The first Shop from Crisis opened its doors in Hackney in October 2015. Warmly welcomed by the local community, Shop from Crisis Hackney sells pre-loved clothing and media to help end homelessness.
Trading in the heart of Mare Street, Shop from Crisis, Hackney welcome donations of pre-loved clothing, books, media and electrical items – just drop them into the shop during opening hours.
Due to the boutique size of the shop we are not usually able to accept furniture – but our Finsbury Park shop can!
Volunteering is a great way to get involved with Crisis mission to end homelessness. It’s also a chance to learn something new, develop existing skills and be part of a diverse and vibrant team!
If you would like to volunteer and can spare as little as 6 hours per week, we would love to hear from you.

Shop from Crisis, Finsbury Park is not only a charity shop, but a coffee bar too! In association with Cafe from Crisis, the Finsbury Park shop serves up a great cup of coffee with a conscience.
We love donations! Clean clothes, good quality books, media, electrical items, homeware and small items of furniture are always welcome - just drop them into the shop during opening hours.
Shop from Crisis, Finsbury Park is always looking for volunteers who might like to develop their retail or barista skills – or even a little of both! If you can spare as little as 4 hours per week please get in touch.

Just a stone’s throw from the vibrant East Street Market, Shop from Crisis, Elephant & Castle is the latest Crisis charity shop and the first in South London.
We're particularly in need of good quality summer clothing, homeware and small items of furniture. Whether you're moving house, spring cleaning or downsizing please get in touch or just bring in your donations during our opening hours.
We are building a team of enthusiastic retail volunteers to help out with sorting and preparing stock and delivering fantastic customer service. No experience necessary – we offer the opportunity to learn new skills in a dynamic environment. If you've got just six hours to spare each week to volunteer, we’d love to hear from you!

Just minutes from the underground, our second North London shop sells good quality donated clothing, homeware and media to help end homelessness.
We're particularly keen to receive good quality donated books and media - if you have read every paperback in your collection and would like to make a donation please get in touch or pop into the shop during opening hours.

A new charity shop raising vital funds for Crisis. This shop will create jobs for homeless people and fund Crisis’ work to help individuals leave homelessness behind for good.
This shop is currently being renovated and will open in the heart of Camberwell Green in March 2018.
This shop needs volunteers to help us get up and running. Learn something new, develop existing skills and be part of a diverse and vibrant team.
