Why Simon enjoys working for Crisis
The stories that you hear on a day-to-day basis about the difference we're making to people's lives. These can vary from really small things such as a member filling in an application form, to bigger things such as people getting jobs or moving into accommodation. It's also the enthusiasm of all your colleagues who recognise that small steps can be a big achievement for some of our members. Simon Ashpool, Learning Manager, Edinburgh

Simon manages a programme of courses and activities at our Skylight Centre in Edinburgh that empowers our members and ensures they have a positive experience of learning.

Our shops and cafes are social enterprises that run training programmes for homeless people to give them valuable experience to help them into jobs.
